Director Biography - Lucrecia Cisneros Rincón

Lucrecia is a young Venezuelan filmmaker and journalist. She has specialised in human rights and violence prevention. Her first shorts have been awarded several times in international festivals. Equipaje is her third short film.

Director Statement

The short was inspired by so many close anecdotes about society's apathy and lack of interest in others. We were filming on the streets for more than 6 hours, and we were impressed that only two people tried to help Martha.
