Director Biography - Jan Morrison

Morrison was born in Birmingham, AL during the social upheaval of the 1960s. Music and religion influenced her young life: Southern Protestantism, John Wesley, glitter rock, Chopin, church choir. Rock bands gave way to graduate school at Vanderbilt University. After many years in academia and psychiatry, she has come back to her creative voice.
Morrison believes in the power of film and art to inspire and connect to our better selves and higher spirits.
