Creating a language within the cinematic framework gives me permission to be both focused and reckless. I laugh and cry with my characters; their triumphs their losses are mine to endure.

I am a short film maker and music composer based in Melbourne, Australia. I am currently having cello lessons. 'Letting Go' is my second, short film. I have a strong interest in stories that are told visually. I am influenced by filmmakers such as; Roman Polanski, Jean Luc Godard, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, to name but a few. I love the process of writing a script, particularly the honesty required when endeavoring to explore the challenges we must face when grappling with the complexities of the human experience. Dialogue is to be kept to an absolute minimum in my films. I wish my stories to be understood regardless of whether or not the viewer understands the English language. I will attempt to have my boundless compassion for humanity spill onto the screen. Seeking to uncover the lyricism in even our darkest of moments is for me why cinema is so powerful a medium. There exists now within me a compulsion to continue making films. How privileged I feel having the opportunity to be part of the great tradition of film making.

A word is worth one coin, silence is worth two.
I eat merely to live, imagination is my sustenance.
When the doors of perception are cleansed, things will appear as they truly are.
The more I know, the less I realize I know.
