Director Biography - Natasha Yolanda Rawls

Natasha Rawls is first and foremost a devout artist of many mediums, including, but not limited to: author (Abandoned North and South Memphis: What’s Left Behind), screenplay writer (semi-finalist for her original TV pilot screenplay “Sturges Academy”, Creative Screenwriting TV Pilot Screenplay Competition 2022), AI Consultant (The 48 Hour Film Project 2023 Little Rock, Arkansas, won Best Graphic Design for team Inception to Projection, short film “Striking Out”), fashion designer (winner of Little Rock Fashion Week Clothing Line of the Year 2009), photographer (published in Shutterbug Magazine, Final Shot section April 2018). Natasha is also a sketch artist and painter in the mediums of tempera paints, acrylic, charcoal, etc. Now, she is making her directorial debut for her first independently produced AI silent short film Enigma of the Noir Masquerade (2023). Natasha was born and raised in Little Rock, Ar., now residing in Cordova, Tennessee — 30 minutes out of Memphis, Tennessee. She is a mom of two adult sons and one teenage daughter. Her AI art and small production company NaJoMar is named after them.
