Born and raised in Prishtina, Kosovo, Endrit Qarolli is an emerging director whose work bridges the cultural landscapes of Southeast Europe and the rest of the world. His passion for storytelling was sparked in his hometown, where he grew up amidst the rich, complex history and vibrant cultural scene of Kosovo. Driven to deepen his craft, he moved to London to study film, immersing himself in one of the world’s most dynamic filmmaking communities.
In 2024, Endrit Qarolli is making his directorial debut with "Ndera", a passion project shot in Kosovo and brought to life with a mixture of Kosovan and British crew. The film combines the raw, evocative storytelling of the Balkans with the technical precision and collaborative spirit of UK cinema.
Endrit Qarolli continues to explore themes of identity, belonging, and resilience, positioning himself as an exciting new voice in Kosovan and British cinema.
