Humanoid creature keeps filling the empty spaces in its body with anything it can to keep the noise away. After a series of events it finally discovers the initial missing parts of itself in an open ended conclusion.

Born and raised in Azerbaijan, currently a student in London. Currently Interested in and experimenting with stop motion animation. Exploring new ways to intrigue the viewer and leave the audience with more than just a viewing experience.

Director Statement

As an animator and a recent director nothing fascinates me more than the subconscious mind and its grip over our psyche when left to its own vices.

With Empty Spaces I delved deep into letting go of intellectualised intent and left space for intuitive subconscious play to take over the creative process. Empty Spaces is, among many other things, my way of exploring addiction, distraction, fear of connection with self and others.
