Writer/Director Emily Florence Batty is a Welsh filmmaker, based in a small coastal village on the coast of Pembrokeshire. She studies Geography at the University of Oxford, graduating 2025. Following graduation, Emily is set to direct her first feature film, Near and Distant Things. This feature drama is her third project. Watch your Six was her debut short (writer/director/producer/editor) which premiered at the Oxford University Short Film Festival. Her second short film, Drift, was filmed in her home county. This film marked Emily's acting debut alongside her roles as writer, director and editor of the zero-budget, three-person crew project.
