I was an English literature major back in college. After reading James Joyce's short collection "Dubliners," I was completely captivated by the idea of telling a story about an epiphany, a life-changing moment of revelation.
"Emily" is a short story that contains rich teenage emotions, much like the ebb and flow of tides. As audience members, we enter a young person's innocent world, step into their fantasies, embark on this journey, and ultimately uncover the dark side of the adult world - the suppressed anger and emotions that finally erupt.
