Emiliano Trovati (Rome, 1983), Italian by birth, historian by training and journalist by profession. Grows and completes his first university graduation in Contemporary History at the ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome. Then he moves to Bologna where start his formation as journalist at the School of Journalism of Bologna ‘Ilaria Alpi’, at the ‘Alma Mater Studiorum’ University. He is a member of the ‘Journalist Association of Rome’ from 2014, and for work he moves between Rome, Bologna, Turin and Perpignan.

Passionate about the audio-visual world, he approaches the images world by working, self-producing video news. To improve the quality of his works, he attended the ‘Master en Teoria y Pratica del Documental Creativo’ at the University of Barcelona – UAB, where he collaborates in the creation, production and recording of the non-fiction long length film Some Might Say. Teenage years, cross-cultural dialogue, social and family problems, are the topics in the documentary, the same treaties by Emiliano on years of works as journalist.
