In 2020, he was selected by HBO to their Directing Fellowship and later won Panavision's Future Filmmaker award. His latest film, 1, 2, 3, All Eyes On Me is no exception.
    1, 2, 3, All Eyes On Me won the Grand Prix Best Film award at HollyShorts, won a Jury Award at the Austin Film festival and was an official selection of two other Academy Award qualifying film festivals. It won Best Short at the NY Latino Film Festival and was nominated for a John Singleton Impact Award. In 2019 the screenplay was a Semi-Finalist in Slamdance’s screenwriting contest.
