Terra Emersa (Emerged Land)

As the only survivor of a blizzard, a man from behind floats on the snow that has washed out everything except the thin line of the horizon. All around him, a sonorous world made both of music and debris, voices and silence. His figure, first one, than many, freezes, thaws: perhaps it's she who might be the Emerged Land, the isle unveiled among the water, the body rising to surface after ages of ice and tremors.
