Emerald Earrings

The movie presents a man, who overthinks a situation to such an extent that he imagines his children’s death as a consequence of his actions. This absurd futuristic image makes him retreat to his usual life, so he does not cross the boundary that would determine this course of action. As his disillusionment goes on, and he tries to show a different self, he blames this decision on a higher authority.
