Der Dokumentarfilm begleitet das engagierte Team auf ihrer emotionalen Reise, die von Hoffnungen und Rückschlägen geprägt ist, während sie nach neuen Kontakten und unkonventionellen Ideen suchen, um das Projekt zu retten. Kann die Kulturküche gerettet werden und zu einem lebendigen Symbol für Gesamtheit und Begegnung erhalten bleiben?

Director Biography - Murad Atshan

Murad Atshan is an Iraqi-German filmmaker and media educator. He worked as a filmmaker while studying psychology in Baghdad. Since 2010, he has been working as a freelance filmmaker and media educator in Germany. Under his direction, numerous film and media educational projects have been created in cooperation with schools, youth centers, associations, companies, universities, and cities in Germany and internationally.

Currently, Murad Atshan is leading Filmakan in Karlsruhe City, an educational and meeting place for young filmmakers and film enthusiasts. He has written, directed, and produced three short fiction films and two short documentaries. Additionally, he is currently producing his first feature-length documentary (Not My City).
