After a particularly catastrophic NIDA audition, Elyse found her true calling behind the camera.

Elyse Landsberry is an emerging female filmmaker who completed her BA in Screen Production at AFTRS in 2022. While juggling a full-time degree, Elyse also worked as a Production Coordinator at Blackbird VFX, managing assets and artists on productions such as "Class of '07" (Amazon Prime) and "Shantaram" (Apple +).

Elyse's most notable credits includes her roles as writer/director/animator on “Drawing the Line” (SBS On Demand), animator on Sydney Film Festival short film "To Be Silent", and animation on First Nations docuseries "Larapinta" (SBS/NITV).

Elyse has also been selected from a list of highly commended AFTRS graduates to be mentored by acclaimed filmmaker, Vanessa Alexander (The Great, Vikings: Valhalla), who introduced Elyse to her first Netflix writer's room in 2022.
