Elyse Landsberry is a young, emerging filmmaker specialising as a writer, director and animator of dark comedy and resonating documentaries. To date, Elyse has created over ten short films and animated three documentaries, all whilst balancing her AFTRS BA degree in Screen Production.
Elyse also has experience as a Production Coordinator for VFX company: Blackbird, assisting with the management of assets and artists on productions such as Class of '07 (Prime) and Shantaram (Apple +). Elyse has attended a Netflix writer's room for a children's feature and is currently being mentored by Vanessa Alexander - writer, director and producer whose credits include The Great and Vikings: Valhalla.
Elyse’s most notable work includes her role as writer/director/animator on “Drawing the Line” (SBS On Demand), as well as her animation on two First Nations documentaries: “Larapinta” (NITV, dir. Gary Hamgauchi) and “To Be Silent” (dir. Tace Stevens).
