The beginning of free thought is to be found when the brain function isn't overwhelmed by external signals that require interpretation. During this time the brain merely enjoys the sensory stimulation on a low level, allowing conscience, empathy, bias recognition, curiosity and creativity to do its work, so we can behave as humans again. Patience is grown during this time of contemplation.
In the world of today, our fast paced life, sensory overload, constant storytelling and inadequate rest has suppressed much of that Top Down brain function. The chase of instant gratification has turned our world into a big dopamine overdose.
Elucidation series is just the start of healing the cognitive process.
