Eleonora Ilia ,born in Ioannina ( Greece ) in 1983, studied Law in the Law Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens ,as well as, she received her Degree in Dance Education from the Department of Theatre and Dance of the Greek Ministry of Culture. She is a graduate student (with merit) of the Master Choreography Comma- a joint degree between Fontys- University of Arts and Codarts Rotterdam-Dance Academy (NL).

She is a dance-maker and choreographer for the dance company "a priori" (2015), based in Ioannina /Greece, which has already presented five productions (dance-theatre, dance and site-specific performances) in co-production with contemporary art festivals and theatres in Greece, such as the Municipal theatre and Cultural Centre of Ioannina, Biennale of Western Balkans, Bios, Tsak Bam Festival, Pocket Dance Festival, Zante Dance Festival etc. in Ioannina, Athens, Thessaloniki, Aigina, Patra, Corfu ,Zante etc.
The company has got financial support from the Greek Ministry of Culture (2017-18, 2021,2022,2023) and the projects 'The discreet charm of abandonment' and Beyond the Urban:Performing Ecosystems are also under the auspices of it.

She has been working also as a freelance performer and she has been teaching contemporary dance classes and improvisation in the Public Dance School of the Cultural Centre of Ioannina. She is also choreographing theatre performances.
