Born in Venezuela in 1997, started her interest and curiosity in the arts, especially the audiovisual arts, from an early age experimenting with VHS cameras and editing home made videos. After finishing her studies in Venezuela, she moved to the city of Barcelona, Spain at the age of 18, where she began her journey in the world of cinema.
Upon finishing her studies in film direction at the Escola de Cinema de Barcelona, she presented herself to the audience with her first formal project: "SNUFF" (2018). Now she is currently in the post-production phase of her upcoming short film: "Isla Fortuny", and distributing her last short “Como agua en el mar", selected for the Directed by Women Spain and screened at Cineteca Madrid. On 2021 she shot an experimental shortfilm on Super 8mm for the Straight 8 Competition (London) "I've Missed You", currently on distribution.
Her cinematographic style unfolds in the areas of Experimental Cinema, art movies, Underground and avant-garde cinema, with Gaspar Noé, Lars Von Trier and Wong Kar-Wai as main references.
She started working on the industry at the prestigious Barcelona based production company Arcadia Motion Pictures as a Production Assistant for several of the company's feature films.
Now a days, Ventura is working as an Assistant Director for films and tv series for Netflix and other streaming platforms. And of course, working on her own ideas and projects.
