This is a creative networking film festival for students, graduates and emerging artists to create connection and collaboration for your future. We want to showcase your work to an audience with other creatives. We implore those that apply to invite industry agents & contacts.

● Must be a student, graduate or emerging artist

● Must be 18+ years old to apply

● All films to be uploaded to FilmFreeway or send a downloadable file to;

electricfilmfestival@gmail.com

● In the email please provide details or where you were educated, when and what you studied. If you are an emerging artist into the industry please write a short bio of your journey so far.

● Please submit your short film with a artist statement alongside any promotional material for the film

● Films must be from 2 to 15 minutes in length (including credits) The films may cover any genre, style or narrative

● Films can be submitted in any language (with subtitles)

● Must have rights to footage and music

●Category winners are announced at the festival through audience vote

● Publicity - We reserve the right to use extracts from submissions for festival publicity and marketing purposes. Press kits are not required, but are useful, so please feel free to send these with your submissions.

●The screening schedule will be announced after the final submission deadline

●General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
By submitting to our festival, we will utilise any personal data that you submit to us as part of the details of your submission, to evaluate your submission for the purposes of the festival. We will store your data to contact you about future festivals and events that you may be interested in from either ourselves or third parties.
We will also use your data as part of our internal surveys to assess the number of submissions for the festival and where submissions came from and from what category.
You are in control of your data and should you wish to delete your data, you may request us to do this at anytime.
Asking us to delete your data before the end of the festival, will delete your submission from the festival and no refunds will be given.
To withdraw consent to use your data and delete it from our systems, please email us with your request.
