Director Statement

This film is a love letter.

Not only to an actress who has become my muse, but to cinema itself.

I am a life long cinema buff. A lover of old and new, directors from all eras.

My tastes vary wildly. From Max Olphus to James Cameron.

Many of my hero’s fingerprints are all over this film. Bergman, Malick, Lynch, Villeneuve, Fincher, Murch and of course Tarkovsky.

Steal from the best they said, so I have.

I owe a debt to them which I have attempted to repay with every single frame.

Enjoy!
