Director Biography - YU-YING CHEN

Chen, Yu Ying is a Taiwanese filmmaker, editor and film researcher currently in the state awaiting her graduation examination at Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), exploring the relationship between technique of film and philosophy with the main interest in theory of editing and cultural study.

Director Statement

The work intends to with the mixture of the analog 16mm film texture, technique of stop motion animation in camera bolex and the digital animation. Through the editing, hopefully delivery a tale about the spirit of object returning the good deed back to its friend.
