Edgar - Carro de Boy feat Rico Dalasam

The music video "Carro de Boy" was filmed in the Serrinha favela in Belo Horizonte, Brasil, and produced by Babilônia Music Filmes. The video is codirected by Túlio Cipó and Edgar - the latter also wrote the video's script. Packed with Brazilian references, the video also works as a traffic awareness campaign.

The track "Carro de Boy" is so popular in Edgar's concerts that he decided to record a studio version of the song. Pupillo himself, the producer of the album "Ultrassom" (2018), produced the track. They invited Rico Dalasam to join thm and turned the song into a funk.

"Carro de Boy" was written a few years ago by Edgar and it tells the story the run over that took his friend Janine's life. "She was ran over by a car in 2007 and passed away. The driver was a rich kid who got rid of any punishment. It changed our reality at school, it was traumatic for all of us" - tells Edgar.
