The Lost Treasure

A treasure hunter (Josh Margulies) discovers an old journal that, along with a compass he inherited as a boy, leads to an ancient Hawaiian secret that's been lost for generations. This powerful staff is known to contain a mystical force that could destroy the island. But his greedy rival (Dezmond Gilla) is determined to secure the staff's power for himself, leading to a cat-and-mouse game through the wild Hawaiian rainforest.

Director Biography - Stella Tinucci

Stella Tinucci is an award winning director/producer from France, based in Los Angeles, specialized in family content.

Graduated from the University of Paris Diderot with a Bachelor’s Degree in film studies, she then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a certificate in cinematography and in producing at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She started her filmmaking career in the science field, working as a director for the National Museum of Natural History in France. After that, she was hired by different company to work as an editor, while also working on-set as an Assistant Camera on various indie films. In 2013, she created the film association “Trav’ling”, organizing film festivals, presentations and workshop for a wide audience.

With her production company, Mascarade Pictures, she now tends to focus her energy into creating entertaining, magical content. Winner of “Best Western Comedy” for her short “Clam Chowder”, “Best US TV pilot” for “Surreal Estates” (a comedy mystery, mix of Sherlock and Scooby Doo), she just finishing up her latest work, a comedy adventure feature film entitled “Eddie Fox & the Lost Treasure“, entirely shot on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii.

As a filmmaker, I am commited to create inspiring & enpowering movies that bring joy, hope and magic. I want to represent those that feel like they don’t belong here, the same way I did at times ; creating a sense of community for those who always felt like an outsider.
I strongly believe in the magical power of cinema. To me, cinema is the bridge between reality and dreams.
