Regulamento EcoBrasil Fest - Festival EcoBrasil de Arte e Cinema Ambiental

QUANDO
O EcoBrasil Fest ocorrerá de 21 a 29 de abril de 2021. Serão aceitas obras cinematográficas concluídas a partir de janeiro de 2018 .

OS FILMES
Os filmes deverão ter temática ambiental, como vida selvagem, natureza, ecossistemas, comportamento animal, ciência, biomas ameaçados, sustentabilidade, ativismo, entre outros.Poderão se inscrever filmes de curta , média e longa metragem (Curtas-metragens de 2’ a 15’, médias-metragens de 16’ a 59’ e longas-metragens a partir de 60 ).
Importante: Filmes que não tenham temática ambiental não serão aceitos.

Premiação
Serão concedidos , pelo Juri Oficial , 3 prêmios principais , sendo :
Melhor Filme Festival - Troféu e certificado
Melhor Filme Nacional - Troféu e certificado
Melhor Filme Estudante - Troféu e certificado

O Juri pode ainda decidir conceder menções honrosas , conforme seus próprios critérios , a filmes de sua escolha , que receberão um certificado do Festival.

FORMATO DE SUBMISSÃO
Os filmes devem ser submetidos em Full HD na Plataforma FilmFreeway.
O título, o número de identificação da submissão, o formato de exibição e o tempo de execução devem estar claramente identificados no cadastro da plataforma, assim como a categoria que deve ser indicada.
Os filmes selecionados poderão ser enviados em formato H264 ou “.mov” .

CURADORIA
Todos os filmes que se adequarem aos pré-requisitos aqui descritos serão analisados pela curadoria do festival.
Os critérios de seleção terão como base as qualidades artísticas, técnicas e a relevância temática da obra.
A decisão da Curadoria é soberana, não cabendo recurso.

SELECIONADOS
A divulgação dos filmes selecionados será realizada por meio do site do festival.
Caberá à organização decidir as datas e horários de exibição dos filmes selecionados.

FILMES ESTRANGEIROS
Para os filmes em língua estrangeira o participante deverá , obrigatoriamente , enviar para o EcoBrasil Fest a lista de diálogos com o timecode em inglês, espanhol ou português. No caso de filmes em português, se houver disponível, é solicitada uma cópia com legendas em inglês.

AUTORIZAÇÕES
Ao se inscrever no EcoBrasil Fest , o proponente concorda com o regulamento e concede:
- Autorização de exibição do trailer e / ou trechos da obra de até dois minutos, bem como stills do trabalho, para fins exclusivos de divulgação do evento.
- Autorização para exibição gratuita do filme durante o período do festival , mostras itinerantes e atividades educacionais do evento, por um período de um ano após o festival.

Rules

The EcoBrasil Fest will take place from April 21 to 29, 2021. Cinematographic works completed from January 2018 will be accepted.

The films must have an environmental theme, such as wildlife, nature, ecosystems, animal behavior, science, threatened biomes, sustainability, activism, among others.Short, medium and feature films can be registered.Short films- from 2 ’to 15’, medium films -from 16 ’to 59’ and feature films- over 60 minutes .
Important: Films that do not have an environmental theme will not be accepted.

Awards
Three main prizes will be awarded by the Official Jury, as follows:
Best Film Overall - Trophy and certificate
Best Brazilian Film - Trophy and certificate
Best Student Film - Trophy and certificate

The Jury may also decide to award honorable mentions, according to its own criteria, to films of its choice, which will receive a Festival certificate.

SUBMISSION FORMAT
Films must be submitted in Full HD on the FilmFreeway Platform. The title, the submission identification number, the display format and the execution time must be clearly identified in the platform register, as well as the category must be indicated.
The selected films can be sent in h264 and .mov format.

All films that meet the prerequisites described here will be analyzed by the festival's selection committee.
The selection criteria will be based on the artistic, technical and thematic relevance of the work.
The selection committee's decision is sovereign, with no appeal.
The list of the selected films will be made public through the Festival website. It will be up to the organization to decide the dates and times of exhibition of the selected films.

Foreign Films
For films in a foreign language, the participant must send a list of dialogues with timecode in English, Spanish or Portuguese to the EcoBrasil Festival .Failure to comply with this rule means automatic elimination.

AUTHORIZATIONS
By signing up for the EcoBrasil Fest , you agree to the regulations and grant:

- authorization to display the trailer and / or excerpts of the work of up to two minutes, as well as stills of the work, for the exclusive purposes of promotion for the event.

- authorization for free screening of the film during the festival period, itinerant exhibitions and educational activities of the event, for a period of one year after the Festival .
