Director Statement

Producing, writing, directing and acting in Echos was one of the most challenging things I have attempted in my life. It was only through the collaboration with an amazing team (who generously all gave their time, energy and resources) that I was able to land the plane and deliver a complete film. I am in their debt.

The whole process of making this film has made me a better actor, and taught me that hard work beats talent every day of the week. A fire has been lit inside me that I look forward to stoking over the years to come.

It's only upon reflection that I have realized so many of my story ideas revolve around a man in either physical or metaphysical isolation. I think it is an important theme of the day, and on a personal level has helped me understand our deep desire for connection.
