Echoes of the code - the souls of humanity (short version)
In the video piece, we want to combine my animation art created with REBOL programming, VSDC video editor effects and Milla Isomäki's oil painting (as well as copyright free music). We believe that when three (four) art forms meet, something new is born in the fusion. Animations in themselves are play with programming, without its greater artistic content - in my opinion, art does not always have to have content, but it can be play. Milla Isomäki's oil paintings, on the other hand, are telling - many of them focus on people and humanity and the inner world of a person

Petri Keckman:
Apart from a few narrative exceptions, my art is playful and free programming, without the need for messages or content. Today, art is often associated with a demand for sustainability, but my work is a reaction to this. Like a small child grabs crayons without thinking about meanings or messages, I play with the REBOL programming language purely for fun. My art is the joy of coding - nothing else, and it doesn't have to be.
Milla Isomäki:
I paint mainly with oil paints. I have also worked with markers, acrylics and watercolors. I feel enchanted when looking at nature, and I want to convey the same feeling to the viewers. My subjects can also be abstract, i.e. non-representative, such as geometric color compositions. After avoiding the human subject at first, I started doing them specifically. All subjects come from my imagination, I have only done two works from the model. I want to convey strength and toughness as well as sensitivity and heart to the viewers.
