Huang Hao, born in Linfen, China in 1997, and currently lives in Xiamen City. Chinese language young director and photographer, graduated from Overseas Chinese University. His works include short film "Our Secret Engraved Herein", "The Seagulls", " Prowler，Faker，and Robber ", "The Letter from Moonlight Balang", documentary film "Xiamen Lacquer Line Carving", etc.

Director Statement

'Echoes May Vanish' is a surrealistic emotional short film. The core of the story focuses on the love story between the male and female protagonists spanning ten years. In the end, under the witness of a fireworks spanning ten years, the two begin to let go of the past. This film uses a large number of Long Take, aiming to restore the authenticity of the story and character emotions as much as possible. Meanwhile, this film uses a lot of long shots and close-ups, which I understand as 'Shots of Memory', to better reflect the distance and intimacy of memory.
