Ebony Hatchett is a filmmaker, actor, and teacher. Born and raised in Indiana, Ebony is now residing in New York City and is a trained theatre actor whom has been on tour with theatre companies such as Big Art Group, Faux-Real Theatre Company, and American Theatre for Actors. Ebony has also been featured in independent films, television series, and commercials as an actor.
Since shooting her first documentary film in March of 2019, "House of Yes", Ebony Hatchett has directed a second documentary film - "A Touch of Gray". Since 2017, Ebony has also directed 5 visually stunning music videos, in which she shot, edited, composed music, and created effects and titles for. As an animation and effects artist, Ebony has worked on "Destination" -a new independent film, and several student films- including "Jet Striker", a Tribeca Film Institute (Semi-Finalist), BRIC Media, Museum of Moving Image, DYCD, All-American High School, HBO Student Screening, and NYC Public School Film Festivals' official selection.
