Bamtin Wade is a Canadian based Nigerian Filmmaker. Bamtin started by joining drama clubs in School and Church as a young kid then went to study Filmmaking at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba Canada. Afterwards, Bamtin proceeded to New York Film Academy where she studied a conservative program in Filmmaking. From then till now Bamtin has been working tirelessly on Writing, Directing and Producing her own projects as well as collaborative projects with other Filmmakers.
Eyes of Idris is a the first feature script I have written. I studied Filmmaking and History in college. As an African-born kid, I felt it was important for me to write a story about a significant time in Africa from our own perspective. The story is both entertaining and educative to all.
