EXTRA sci-fi festival Verona is the first science fiction film festival in Verona, Italy. Organised by a collective composed of cinephiles, cultural promoters and film critics, we aim to promote the sci-fi genre in Verona in its various forms: from cinema to visual arts, literature to music. We work in partnership with the renowned Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, the University of Verona and other cultural associations in the city.

Eligible films and shorts must have been released within the past 2 years.

Selected feature films in languages other than Italian must be able to provide an SRT file of subtitles in English or Italian.
