ESCLVVV depicts the employees at a furniture factories complex in the outskirts of Shanghai, leaving the facility on a lunch break. A study of repetition and difference, it maintains a fixed camera position in a long, uninterrupted tracking shot.

Director Biography - Luis Rojo

Luis Rojo is director and co-founder on BRBR, a visual and acoustic creators collective, with a background in cinema, arts and the social sciences.

We aim to push the limits between contemporary visual culture and documenting reality. Our work has been screened in film festivals and museums, and it ranges from feature films to music videos.

We are archaeologists of the times we live in. We love films, we tell stories we want to be remembered. Our team is based in Madrid and London, and we work globally.

Screening selection: Seminci, Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, FICUNAM, Loop Barcelona, Centro Arte 2 de Mayo, GAM Santiago de Chile have already awarded our work.
