E M O T I Ø N L E S S
You never know how or when or where it starts, but it's there. You go through the motions, or rather, the emotions; rinse... repeat. You're not sad or happy or mad. You're simply alive... you're just emotionless.
Felicity finds herself victim to the state of being completely void of any and all emotions. It isn't until a sudden twist in her mundane routine that reinvigorates at least a bit of curiosity and sparks a new challenge.

Born and raised in Naples, FL., director and writer Ivan Montero has always had an affinity for the arts, specifically writing, film, photography, and design. He has done freelance video work for various churches & organizations in Naples and Fort Myers and has written and filmed his own short comedy sketches online. He runs his own photography and graphic design freelancing business and has written, produced, and directed his first short film in 2018 titled "EMOTIØNLESS," in which he plans to continue world-building with more short films and tie-in comics. In 2021, he graduated with his BAchelor's in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design. He hopes to continue his education in the future and obtain his MFA in Creative Writing.
Analyzing the culture we live in, I realized it lacks a crucial part of communication: storytelling. Humans thrive on storytelling, whether it is a story of our trip to the supermarket or a made-up story about a an lien race who comes to earth looking for a single cup of sugar, but no one can understand them. The limits to our imagination are endless, yet the art form is dying. The age of mindless action and meaningless special effects are overtaking the place of a well told story.
As an artist, I try to tell the best stories I can. I love the DIY look that indie filmmaking has and I aim to harness that style to tell the best of stories. Whether it be in film, comics, or photography, my goal is to never replace the value of a story for anything less.
