The central idea is time. The question of time arises as one of the basic problems of human existence. Time is not just a problem, but a question and perhaps the most important question we always encounter in front of us on the path of our lives.

The "eternal now" is the eternal life, a life independent of time where the separation of past, present, and future has no meaning. But for real Mysts - and there are no more real than Eleusinian people- there is no such problem as passing to eternity because we already live in it.___

During the second day of Big Eleusinian Mysteries, someone could hear the scream "Alade Mystai (to the sea, Mysts)". This shout was the commencing signal of the march towards the sea for purification and sublimation. Because the sea is clean, unpolluted and it brings catharsis to all human suffering

Modern Elefsis. people have reach their destination in front of the Eleusis Sea scenery, against the horizon lines, resembling a kind of catharsis process. Time stops here and it is becoming of abstract meaning: There is no "past", no "future", just "eternal present".

Life in past times have already been lived, therefore it has become dead history, while life in future time has not been lived yet and we don't know it's bounds. We live only the eternal present

Κεντρική ιδέα είναι ο χρόνος. Το ζήτημα του χρόνου τίθεται ως ένα από τα βασικά προβλήματα της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης. Ο χρόνος δεν είναι απλά ένα πρόβλημα, αλλά ένα ερώτημα και ίσως το πιο σπουδαίο ερώτημα, που συναντάμε πάντα μπροστά μας στο μονοπάτι της ζωής μας.
Η ταινία έχει μια συγκεκριμένη δομή, σταθερές εικόνες, η κάμερα χωρίς κίνηση, οι άνθρωποι ακίνητοι. Από αυτές τις στατικές εικόνες απουσιάζει η ροή του χρόνου. Οι υπομνήσεις ότι ο χρόνος της εικόνας υπάρχει και ρέει ως πραγματικός, δηλώνεται από τον κυματισμό της θάλασσας και την έλευση των πλοίων στο φόντο του ορίζοντα.
Δεν υπάρχει σχόλιο ή αφήγηση εντός ή εκτός κάδρου, δεν υπάρχει μουσική. Αφήνουμε να μιλήσει η σιωπή. Αποφεύγουμε να επιβάλλουμε συναισθήματα, εμπλέκοντας έτσι τον θεατή να συμμετέχει σε αυτά που βλέπει και να κρίνει μόνος του.
