With only one friend (whom he doesn't even like) and a family that gives him zero attention, Manuel is stuck in a dead-end career. An ongoing headache turns out to be a sign of Manuel's unique ailment, which has only ever happened twice in the history of mankind. Manuel will turn into an elephant. As a result of this Kafkaesque turn of events, Manuel will lose his boring career, his hated buddy, and his wife and kids, who were previously uninterested. Manuel discovers that his worst illness could also be his greatest gift, giving purpose to a life that had previously been meaningless.
