EBEN

Eben is a film created by directors Josh Greene and Jack Lattin, produced by Renee Baffert, who is Eben’s “mama” and owner.
Greene and Lattin met at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts in their freshman year dorm. Their film school collaborations culminated in the production of Waves Apart, which won the Jury Award for Best Documentary at the Cannes Film Festival: Emerging Filmmaker Showcase. While screening that project at Oscar-qualifying festivals across the country, Greene and Lattin founded Landport Productions, the film company behind the creation of Eben. Under the Landport banner, Greene and Lattin have directed numerous short films, documentaries, and branded commercials. They’re currently in production on an upcoming documentary inspired by their work on Waves Apart, and pre-production on a narrative feature film.

Renee Baffert (Writer/Producer) is a dog mom to Eben and Lassen and an outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, hiking, and skiing. She volunteers with the Humane Society taking sheltered animals to memory care facilities, as well as with the United Cerebral Palsy Center. Renee received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. She believes that the animal/human connection is sacred and to be loved by a dog is one of the greatest gifts of unconditional love one can experience in this life.
