Dwight was born in Montreal and grew up on the south shore in a small lake town called Lery. He discovered a video camera at the age of 7 and it's been his dream ever since to make films. He grew up watching the films and remembers going to Blockbuster every friday night to rent movies and watch them over the course of the weekend.
Early on in life he knew film directing was his dream job.

In high school he was awarded with the prize for achievement in film and media. He also won best film in the school's film festival. After graduating he attended Dawson in the cinema video communications program and received his diploma in, Creative Arts Language and Literature. After Dawson, he went to Concordia University and received his diploma in photography.

Since then, he's made over 20 short films, wrote two feature length scripts. He's worked on feature films as a production assistant, as well as t.v shows like Amazing Race Canada and music videos with local up and coming artists such as MINDFLIP and CHIIILD.

Filmmaking is a lifelong passion of his. Dwight has recently started to take acting classes to help understand the art of acting with the intent of honing his directing and writing.
