Dwija
Set in the primal times, Dwija is a tragic tale of two lovers who are violently separated from each other. They are beheaded and their heads are transposed. After being brought back to life by the magical strength of a Brahmin, the two women try to retrace their long-lost love- wandering on an existential journey stratified with ideas of mind-body dualism, immortality, and Advaita.
The film is an allegory on the current Anthropocene, evincing the exploitation of mother nature earth by the hands of a man. He takes what he wants, and leaves the mother, only to return to take more.
