Dustin McGladrey is an emerging cisgender IndigiQueer Producer/Director/Writer from the Nisga'a Nation. His filmography includes acting performances in shorts and features, as well as directing five festival-quality short films. Dustin is a co-owner of his own film company, Likinskw Productions Inc., which was started in 2022 with his partner Rosie Johnnie-Mills. He aspires to bring Indigenous futurisms and identity on screen. His last award-winning short film, House After, dealt with his family's residential school experience. He has two more short films in 2023 that are ready to begin festival runs.
Accompanying his filmmaking skills, Dustin is an accomplished radio personality. He has accumulated over 6680 hours of radio broadcasting experience from 2010 - 2018, serving in several radio stations within Western Canada. This radio experience gave him excellent interview skills as on-air live guests were a weekly occurrence. Dustin has finished a Bachelor's in Film Production at the University of British Columbia. He is taking a break from schooling to make films before returning to complete a Master's Degree.
