Durga

Durga (7), daughter of Hari and Jaya Roy, has contracted some disease which causes persistent cough, stomach cramps and loss of appetite. The local doctor has advised a surgery. The Roys are a BPL family, and the looming cost of such a huge medical procedure, complete with admission and associated charges cause them a lot of distress. Seeing her daughter in this condition, Jaya, too, loses her appetite. Around this time, Hari bumps in to a friend, Apu, who happens to be an employee at the IQ CITY Hospital Rural Health Clinic. Apu suggests that Hari take his daughter to IQ CITY HOSPITAL, to which Hari expresses concern over the medical bills over there. Apu realises that Hari isn't quite aware of all services provided by IQ CITY HOSPITAL, so he assures Hari that treatment at IQ CITY HOSPITAL isn't very costly, as they have a lot of facilities to aid patients who are financially challenged. He mentions all the departments, 24/7 emergency, OPD @30/-, affordable treatment, Swasthyasathi card and associated facilities, Annyapatra (Free Lunch or @ 10/- ), Free health check up. etc. Hari is convinced and he takes Durga to the Hospital. He is greeted by a smiling receptionist who guides them through the OPD process. Their doctor assures them that money will not be an issue when it comes to treatment at IQ CITY HOSPITAL, because they have the Swasthyasathi facility. All goes well, the surgery goes fine, and the little girl goes home happy and healthy. The doctor even gifts her a balloon. While leaving, Jaya realises that they're hungry, so Hari takes out three coupons for the Annapatra facility, where they have their full meal @10/-.

This film is conceived with the intention of communicating to people who struggle to make ends meet, and are therefore afraid to come to IQ CITY HOSPITAL because they're misinformed about the medical costs. We want to touch the emotion of common people, and believe that this is a suitable and convincing story to tell.
