Experiencing Interruptions?

Duda

Maria can no longer sleep. 8 months pregnant with her second child, she feels helpless and anguished as at the time of her first pregnancy. Again, she can not distinguish between reality and hallucination: her days and nights are surrounded by yellowish nightmares. Immersed in a dizzying stream of consciousness, this is a story of horror and delusion about motherhood and postpartum depression. (based on Carolina Lobo's puerperium diaries)

Director Statement

"I am an Educator and Cultural Articulator, Producer, Screenwriter, and Director. I am Lobo (wolf) and I carry a pack of wolf-women with me, either in the Film Production Company Flor Filmes, or in the movies I make. The importance of all this is resisting oppressive realities, resignifying them through art. It is using discomfort as a creative power."
