At DFWIFFA you can find art creators from digital NFT - art to big budget feature films and pop-stars.

DFWIFFA founders is connecting art people from all around the world and invites the best of them to Dubai for future collaboration and communications.

DFWIFFA held every year at February for 5 days.

Opening ceremony will start with music festival of artists from all around the world and will end with one of the 5 winning films.

Second day will go through short movies about planet, humanity and sci-fi works.

Third day will be dedicated to ArtHouse filled with workshops from ArtHouse authors

Fourth day - day of IT shorts that will go with physical NFT-Gallery.

Fifth day - best dramatic and life changing stories with closing award ceremony and after party on boats with artists.

Annual awarding films are shown at the DIIFFA Event including Q&A, Interviews, and a Closing Award Ceremony in Dubai.

1.In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner
Formats accepted for exhibition: Digital H264, DCP and 1080 or 2K .mov Files (and Blu-ray back-up if requested).

2.Entries must be submitted as online screeners via FilmFreeway. Secure Vimeo screeners are welcome. Please link such screeners on FilmFreeway.

3.Films must be presented in their original language with English language subtitles. If we discover a foreign-language submission is missing subtitles, we will attempt to email the submitter for an update. If the submitter fails to provide working subtitles by the final submission deadline, the project will be considered incomplete and will be disqualified without refund of submission fees.

4.Each submission must be accompanied by a submission fee paid in full and a working screener in order to be considered.

5.Students must present a valid Student ID in order to receive our student discount.

6.Works in progress may be submitted, but are juried in the same pool as all other submissions.

7.Artists can submit the film in multiple categories in order to become multi-award films. Still, the decision about the selection is strictly determined by our judges' team and no selection is guaranteed.

8.Submitting your movie, you authorise DUBAI FILM WEEK to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills on our social media.

9.The maximum duration allowed is 35 minutes for shorts.

10.A copy will be requested for the Live Events with English and/or Arabian subtitles.

11.If your work is selected to be screened at our Annual Live Event, you must provide subtitles in Arabian language.

12.Due to the ongoing global pandemic situation, physical screening in front of a live audience the date and place of the annual event can be moved.
