It's DFFB 2021! That means it's the 6TH ANNUAL DFFB!

We've been so happy to be bringing free film screenings to Bradford (and now also Oakland, CA) since 2016. We pride ourselves on being filmmaker-focused and putting unique and interesting films in front of new audiences without charging crazy ticket prices for screenings.

2020 was...different. But we were quick to adapt on put on a banger of a virtual event. For 2021, we're optimistic about returning to our beloved pub partners, but either way we will definitely, absolutely happen and are excited to see what you've made! So please send us your best most interesting stuff and help us put on the best most interesting events going!

My goal in founding Drunken Film Fest was to provide comfortable, unique, and most importantly FREE spaces to show our films. That led me to the amazing local pub scene of Bradford - hence 'Drunken' Film Fest. It's not about getting drunk on booze; it's about getting drunk on film, having great conversations, and exploring the amazing venues this city has to offer.

— Jax Griffin, festival founder and director

How lucky are we in Bradford to have this film festival and I was delighted to have my animation chosen to be part of it. Obviously due to Covid things were different this year but it didn't stop the Festival giving off warmth and inspiration. Looking forward to hopefully being on the streets next year.

I like these guys! A lot of fests are impersonal, but these guys are not only professional, but they're just cool to deal with. If we weren't in lockdown, I would have gladly flown from LA to Bradford to hang out and network. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this festival to all. BTW, they have totally epic laurels!

Thanks so much, Tommy! We love our laurels too!!! Maybe one day we'll get you out to Bradford!!

My film had a nice reception and then seeing other films and the fact that I was talking to the filmmakers without me feeling too much shy was very good too. A great privilege to be within the same space as these films. Very intimate if you would like to visit one of the bars it will be showing at next year.
