Drishtant is a one of a kind film, incepted with the idea of supporting the visually impaired. All the lead actors, the musician and the lyricist, the subtitlist in the film are visually impaired in real life enacting roles of visually impaired characters.

Ajinkya and his friends go to Goa to celebrate the birthday of Ajinkya. There they meet a person named Bhau who is always drunk. Bhau take all these people into the deep sea in the boat with the intension of looting. But one strange thing happens with them on that night where that boat capsizes. In morning, Bhau comes to know that they have trapped on an unknown seashore where on the one side is the unfathomable ocean which cannot be crossed by swimming and on the another side is a high mountain which cannot be climbed. Bhau understands that there is no escape from here without death. Bhau also comes to know that all the three boys he has taken with him by deceit are blind. From this very moment begins the struggle of life and death, struggle between the blinds and the sighted people as well as there perspectives. In this journey, many questions arises in the mind of Bhau which are redressed by the blinds itself. Overall, it is the story of a struggle which shows the high contrast between the attitudes of blind people and the sighted people towards the life. The journey ends with the beautiful social message that highlights the importance of organ donation. (Drishtant)
