Nina Winter and Vera Berggren Wiklund, both 21 years old from Umeå, are driven by the wish to highlight young girls through film. Drift is their first co-created short film.
This short documentary had its beginning in our fascination for young female gymnasts. These ten and eleven year old girls practice many hours a week to reach the level they're now competing on. What are their dreams? Fears? What's driving them to continue? Drift is our way of exploring their stories.
