Director Biography - Laura Panteleit

Laura Panteleit is a media studies student from Bielefeld. She wants to get into the art of filmmaking and strives to establish herself in that field. Her own path started with student films with fellow other students but since then she did an internship at Filmhaus Bielefeld where she also participated in the production of the Digital Cinema short film in 2023 as a lighting operator.

Director Statement

For this project, my aim was to create a filmic depiction of mental health issues and how those can influence us as people in society. It was important to me to show more awareness and transparency for this issue.
