purpose-giving activity: dreaming. Inside a dream lab, three dreamers are torn between belief, disbelief, and disillusionment of institutionalized creativity.

Shuaitong Zong (1995, Tianjin, China) is a media artist and graphic designer. She finds her place as an explorer and translator of experience: sensing the world, questioning boundaries, and challenging systems of production and value. She engages with the imagination and participates in contemporary debates about the environment, new ecologies, and human production processes through a balance of applied and speculative work.
Thomas Boys (1993, Washington D.C.) is a mathematician with experience in entrepreneurship, DJing, science communication, and art direction. He has led the research at the intersection of mathematics and artificial intelligence and is now the director of product development for an online programming school.
He draws on the fields of design and art to offer a philosophical reflection on the intricacies of technology in our society.
Zong and Boys are both interested in exploring contemporary zeitgeist issues, they believe that experiencing and sensing are ways of learning; they collect and synthesize different forms of knowledge and explores ways to develop one's authorship as filmmakers through the use of material and media.
