Director Biography - Jamie Gibson

Jamie Gibson is the creator of Pinion Pictures: a collection of films, poems, photos and music that evoke a mood of familiar dread, relatable bleakness and inevitable hopelessness.

Fascinated by horror movies, monsters and aliens since a child, always imagining what might be lurking in the shadows and secretly hoping that the monsters were real.

Inspired by artists like David Lynch, Abbas Kiarostami, Coil, Lustmord, H.R. Giger, Zdzisław Beksiński, Mark Z. Danielewski and Thomas Ligotti, all of whom demonstrate that art is expressing your personal vision and that, if you're lucky, others can share in it with you.
