is a dialogue from the film “Farewell My Concubine”, which means that if human, must watch drama; if not, is not human.

However, as a Malaysian nowadays, there is too much medium and type of drama that we can watch, but when we track back to sources, what has transferred and made Malaysian drama culture? In this documentary, we are doing to present you one of it, the Cantonese traditional opera by 4 chapter:

“曲传 The Past of Song”
”人传 The Senior Actor“
“人承 The Junior Actor”
”曲承 The Heritage of Song“

To introduce the heritage of the song and people involved in the culture of Cantonese opera.

Finally, our theme and purpose:

“录中，艺传”

We hope that with this documentary, the cultural heritage of Cantonese opera is passing to the younger generation.
