Dragon Troubles

With his huge wings on the back, Spass is different from the rest of the dragons in Dragonville. When Spass discovers that he can fly with his enormous wings, the society claimed him awkward. While Spass desperately tries to be accepted he finds Bella – a female dragon with rare fire-breathe abilities. The story is about the odd ones who are considered as a threat to the society. However, they do have their own place in the village.

Director Biography - Kalina Vutova

Kalina has a Master’s Degree in Animation Directing. She graduated in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts - NATFA, Sofia, Bulgaria. Before NATFA she graduated the
High School for Fine Arts, Sofia in Illustration and Scenography Dept.
Kalina is now currently working as a Senior Animator in Ubisoft Sofia.

Director Statement

The project idea is a common situation in life - how hard is when you are different from the others and they don't want to accept you. Everyone has experienced something similar at a certain point – to feel different, not fitting in and odd. Dragon Troubles shows that being considered as different by everyone else is not always bad.
