Doppelrocker

When an indie band’s lead singer passes before they can fulfill their contract, the remaining members cover up his death and recruit a doppelgänger to join them on tour, in this irreverent queer comedy screenplay.

Hours after a fatal accident involving The Custom Wild's frontman, guitarist Kelley Rhodes catches Daniel Ott impersonating the singer and former flame. Against his better judgement, Rhodes enlists Daniel in a scheme to slide the singer's death under the radar and take the band on tour. And they just might get away with it, if super-fan and journalism underdog Olivia Penn doesn’t expose their plot.

Throw in a bisexual love triangle (a bi-angle?), a former member of the Slovakian Circus, and a missing finger, and you end up with one cluster muck of a final performance, of a tour...or their careers.
