Door into Darkness is a supernatural thriller that follows Sam as he navigates the uncertain and vulnerable time following the passing of his father. After reconnecting with, Jay, an old high school acquaintance, Sam is shown something unbelievable in the forest on the outskirts of town. Jay's innocent attempt at closure becomes something neither of them expect that will soon alter the rest of their lives.

Darryl Ayles a graduate of the Advanced Filmmaking program at Fanshawe College is co-owner of indie film production company Orange Hat Film Productions based out of London, ON.
Darryl has a passion for cinematography, writing and directing that he has been continuously developing since graduation. In High School, Darryl was an integral part of the tech drama sound team and has always enjoyed working with actors behind the scenes to bring creative works to life. Having spent many years as a drummer in the Guelph music scene, Darryl has made many connections and deeply understands the audio-visual message film can evoke in an audience.
Darryl is constantly trying new things, pushing his comfort zone with independent feature films and reaching for the next stepping stone in his film career.
